Summer is often painted as a season of joy, freedom, and endless sunshine—a time for vacations, family outings, barbecues, and carefree living. Social media is filled with sun-soaked selfies, beach trips, and bucket lists that make the season seem universally blissful.

But the reality? For many people, summer brings a very different emotional experience—one that is often overlooked or dismissed.

Behind the highlight reels and packed calendars, a quiet struggle unfolds. The longer days can intensify feelings of loneliness. The abrupt change in schedules—especially for students, parents, or those who rely on structure—can lead to anxiety and disorientation.
